SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

All orders placed on lazakat.in will be delivered using the shipping service selected and detailed at the time of ordering.

Lazakat Foods Pvt Ltd reserves the right to revise or fluctuate delivery charges in proportion to shipping and logistics costs. However, the final delivery cost will always be clearly communicated to the Customer/User before completion of the order.

Any request for an alternative delivery method must be made at the time of placing the order.

We do not guarantee delivery dates or delivery times. Most orders are shipped within 2–3 business days of receiving the order. Shipping timelines are calculated based on working days (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays).

PASSING OF RISK

The risk of loss or damage to the products shall pass to the Customer/User once the products have been delivered to the delivery address specified in the order.

Lazakat Foods Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for non-delivery of orders in cases where:

  • The Customer/User provides an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, or
  • The Customer/User fails to receive or collect the order after reasonable delivery attempts and communication by us or our logistics partners.

If an order is lost after being handed over to a third party authorized by the Customer/User, or to a courier arranged or commissioned by the Customer/User, Lazakat Foods Pvt Ltd shall bear no risk once the products have been delivered to such third party.

In case goods are received in a damaged condition, the Customer/User must notify us within 2 days of delivery via phone, email, or any written medium. Upon verification, a full refund may be issued, subject to the product being returned along with its original packaging. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for full details.

Where goods are delivered against a signature, the Customer/User shall bear all risk once the goods are signed for by the Customer/User or any person authorized by them. If the Customer/User suspects tampering of the package, it is their responsibility to refuse delivery. Acceptance of delivery does not affect any rights under the Return & Refund Policy, if applicable.


TITLE AND DEFECTS

Ownership of the products shall pass to the Customer/User only after full payment has been received by Lazakat Foods Pvt Ltd.

The Customer/User is required to inspect the products within a reasonable time after receipt. If the products are found to be defective or misdescribed, the Customer/User must notify Lazakat Foods Pvt Ltd in writing, via email, or through the designated communication medium provided on the Online Store. In such cases, the Customer/User may be entitled to a refund or replacement as per the applicable policy.


TRACKING ORDERS

Order tracking and shipment information will be shared with the Customer/User via email, SMS, or any other designated communication medium once the order is shipped.

LEGAL JURISDICTION

All disputes arising out of or relating to shipping and delivery shall be subject to Ludhiana jurisdiction only.
